Hi Friends! as we all know i recently started my blog and it has given me a little part of cyber space to have some fun sharing my thoughts, little diys and recipes with you awesome people out there.
It not only allows me to help you but it also gives me a sense of peace and comfort and at times allows me to venture into worlds i couldn't in reality. Being a mom and wife, unintentionally your youthful spark which used to glimmer in your bright eyes, gradually begins to dim and you become sad and emotionally withdrawn. Your life now belongs to your loved ones but it does not mean that you can't find something that will bring all of that youthfulness back. It could be absolutely anything that for a few minutes or hours, just allows you to escape.
For me, it was blogging. For an hour or two a day i opened up my computer and a rush of thoughts and ideas would fill me which i would transfer onto this blog. It makes me feel alive and happy which then rubs off onto my family cause if a mom ain't happy, no one is.
At first i was guilty of starting a blog to make some extra cash but i soon discovered that my blog would never prosper if that was my intention. So i changed my way of thinking and this little blog has been slowly growing from strength to strength and i couldn't be any more grateful.
Whoever thinks it's super easy, please do not be fooled! This is hard work which takes immense commitment and dedication (with a 1 year old, that ain't a piece of cake) however i have been told that the trick is to never ever give up. If blogging is what you are truly passionate about then just hang in there and soon your blog will be flourishing with followers too.
I want to personally thank each and every one of you for joining me on my journey by visiting my blog, i am forever grateful to you. Enjoy the upcoming festive season, i will be posting more great christmas diys and ideas so stay tuned!!
