Jingle Bells - Part 3 (continued...)

Hi friends! I am so sorry I haven't been posting in a while. I had to go off and be "super mommy"
which unfortunately caused Lady J to go into hiding. However, I am back and oh so excited about todays post as I have somewhat of a sweet tooth. So to continue with our festive preparations I have for you today a dessert recipe which requires no baking! Yay!

Summer Berry Trifle

Ingredients:


*300g white sponge cake
*2 x 410g cans boysenberries
*500ml carton vanilla custard
*1-2 punnets strawberries, thinly sliced
*300ml cream, whipped to soft peaks
*1 large chocolate flake bar, crumbled

Directions


1.Cut sponge into squares and place in a serving bowl or small glasses. Pour over berries and their juice and spoon over custard. Keep repeating process until bowl or glass is 3/4 full.

2.Top with sliced strawberries (reserving some for garnish) and then whipped cream. Garnish with flake bar and extra sliced strawberries.
