Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad!

My amazing parents are married for 26 years today and their story of how it all began is nothing short of a fairytale. I would often ask them to tell me of how they first met even though I already know it because I love the twinkle in their eyes as they remember the days when they were young and inlove and also because it makes me want to have a marriage just like theirs.

My dad says that the moment he laid his eyes on my mum, he knew that she was the woman he wanted to marry so "love at first sight" really does exist. And I know that it was the same for my mum even though she is too shy to admit it.

I strive every day to make sure that my marriage with Ash is as strong and fulfilling as the relationship my mum and dad have. I am so blessed to have shining stars like the two of them. 

Mum and dad, you are the most awesome couple I know and I thank you for teaching me all that you have. Cheers to your 26 years of marriage and to 26 more years to come. I love you!! xoxo
